The challenge

A small café chain counted stock on paper at closing time. Milk and beans ran out on busy days, while other items expired on the shelf.

A phone app for quick stock counts with barcode scanning, low-stock alerts and a one-tap reorder list that the manager can send to suppliers.

React Native with Expo, offline-first storage that syncs when the connection returns, and Supabase for authentication and data.

Counting takes a few minutes per shift, and the team reorders based on real numbers instead of guesses.
