The challenge
A five-person agency was tracking invoices in three spreadsheets and a shared inbox. Late payments were noticed weeks too late, and nobody could answer a simple question: how much cash will we have next month?
What I built
A focused web app that pulls invoices, payments and recurring retainers into one place. It sends polite automatic reminders, matches Stripe payouts to invoices and draws a 90-day cash-flow forecast that updates as soon as a payment lands.
Under the hood
React and TypeScript on the front end, a Node.js API with PostgreSQL, background jobs for reminders and webhooks, and end-to-end tests for every money-related flow. Every screen works with a keyboard and a screen reader.
The result
The team now spends minutes, not afternoons, on billing. Overdue invoices are visible on day one, and the forecast became the first thing they open on Monday morning.
